This case involves a joint legal investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and DYFS into the allegations of one child molesting another. Although both parties are minors, these cases are still treated as very serious by law enforcement. We prevented the prosecutor’s office from interviewing our client and within a few weeks, our sexual assault defense attorneys had the criminal investigation dismissed. A few weeks later, our attorneys also had the DYFS case dismissed as well.
